It is with sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of President Judith M. Parsells of the Ladies Auxiliary of Hudson Valley Volunteer Firefighters' Association on June 16th.. As many of you know she had a courageous fight over the last two years with cancer, right up to the end. She had planned to be at Convention and did not cancel until earlier last week.

Judy was a wonderful lady and donated her time to her family, community, and the fire service. I only knew her for a short time as I moved up though the chairs of the Valley, but soon after meeting her I realized that she was a special lady.

Judy was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Pine Bush Hook & Ladder Co.# 1 and Ladies Auxiliary of Orange County. She was also a member of Ladies' Auxiliary of Coldenham Fire Department.

Please read her Obituary that her son John posted on Facebook. There is no funeral home involved so I posted his beautiful Obituary as a PDF attached to this announcement. You will see the love and respect he had for his mother and her accomplishments.

Viewing and Services will be next Wednesday June 25th from 2:00pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm at:

FIRE SERVICE WILL BE AT 7:00 PM. All Hudson Valley Ladies Auxiliary and Association members wishing to go, Please be at Firehouse at 6:45 pm. We will follow the local fire organizations in at 7:00 pm.
