| Our Past President Donald Farrell is running for President of the Firefighters Association of State of New York. Don is finishing his second year of a two year term as First Vice President of FASNY. His opponent who is from downstate has very little past involvement with FASNY. Please see chart attached for Donald's experience and participation supporting FASNY over the years compared to his his opponent. Don has had many years of service to our Association serving as Chair person of a number of committees besides being Past President. Don is from Ossining where he has years of service including being Past Chief of one of the largest volunteer fire companies in New York State (400 volunteers) protecting and serving a city population of 32,000.
Voting will be at the FASNY Convention on August 19 at Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville in south western New York. Convention runs August 19 thru August 22. Please go to fasny.com web page to register for the Convention and/or to become a member of FASNY. If not a member and want to go and vote for Don you have to become a member by August 4th. |
